Who are we and what do we do?

Step One ltd. was founded by Alan Beckett. Working in International Schools, overseas American and British schools, we provide specialist guidance and advice on higher education choices, vocational interests and learning support. This work is underpinned by the use of inventories and psychometric assessments which provide our clients with a clear understanding of their abilities, interests and preferences in both educational and vocational choices.

Step One is now ready to expand its operations across the globe by offering guidance practitioners, the opportunity to add the 'Step One product' to their own portfolio. This would be in the form of a licensee agreement.

The Step One product

Step One itself is the ‘product’ comprising of a portfolio of commodities:

1. Occupational ability and aptitude assessment
2. Vocational interests inventory
3. Post 16 educational choices
4. Individual and personal guidance counselling
5. Career and higher education information sources
6. Learning, study, intellectual and thinking style analysis.
7. Emotional intelligence surveys

Step One is inviting guidance practitioners to become licensees of the Company based upon your experience, quality of provision and commitment to this area of work.

How would it work?

Guidance practitioners will be able to use the Step One product with their existing clients and also market the product to new sources, thus enlarging their own customer base.

Licensees would obtain components of the Step One product through the company, who would duly arrange for processing of relevant reports and materials before returning to the licensee for local delivery.

The licensee would be incorporated into the company infrastructure and in so doing allow the licensee to use the company name and reputation, if they wish, in order to develop work for all parties.
